What type of art are we interested in displaying?
Dark or horror art can be defined in many different ways. Sometimes it is disturbing, sometimes it is fun and other times it can be cute but creepy. We want art that creates an ominous or striking feeling to the viewer. It can be macabre, mysterious, surreal or hyper realistic. Look to artists such as Giger, Beksinski, Fuseli, Rosa for our inspiration. We welcome odd and troubling pieces as well as quirky and creepy.
Inside the Harrowing Hall our goal will be to create an ethereal vibe while perusing the art. Through the years, we will add various elements including decor, lights and sound to help create the aesthetic and inspiration we want to share.
Any medium and subject matter as long as it is dark, creepy or unsettling. If you have a model in your work, you must be able to submit a model release form on request.
